Members CarvedOn Posted September 9, 2010 Members Report Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) I did some drawings of Elk and decided to try to burn them on a leather wallet. I wanted to share the result. Feedback welcome. http://www.etsy.com/shop/LovejoyCreations Edited September 9, 2010 by CarvedOn Quote
Members Spinner Posted September 9, 2010 Members Report Posted September 9, 2010 Pretty nice end result! I may have to give this a try. I have a Razortip pyrography set up from my woodturning days that would likely do nicely. Quote
Members CarvedOn Posted September 9, 2010 Author Members Report Posted September 9, 2010 I just used one of those Walnut Hollow tools you can get at a craft store. Love to have a professional woodburning tool. I do woodburned keepsake boxes with it. Quote
Members Spinner Posted September 9, 2010 Members Report Posted September 9, 2010 I was thinking about this subject about a week ago when some folks asked about little draw string bags with a simply logo on them. Will likely get a stamp/brand made later on if it goes somewhere but in the meantime it looks like this technique would fit the bill. Here's the set-up I have used for years and love it: http://www.razertip.com/miva5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RII&Product_Code=SK-1F&Category_Code= and the tip set: http://www.razertip.com/miva5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RII&Product_Code=SET8&Category_Code= Highly recommed it if you go looking for a new set-up.
