Howdy y'all

Been a while since I posted anything.

Here's a holster for the 1851/ 1860 Colt. It's my take on the Jesse James floral tooling pattern.

Wickett-Craig 10 oz. veg. with liner.

Tim

Hopefully you can help me. I have been asked to make a holster for an 1860 Colt 44.

Never made a holster before. Any chance you could share the pattern? Thanks,

He hasn't been here for awhile now. Lots of folks come and go from here. Try doing a search here for a pattern.

Thanks bikermutt07. Search here with no results so I'm going to go the paper trace route and make a pattern which I can then digitize in my CAD system to tweak as necessary.

Try this link http://www.leatherworker.net/California Holster Tutorial.pdf

It may be helpful.  Do a google search "site:leatherworker.net 1860 Colt 44" without the quotes.  Lots of pictures and comments.  This pdf was in the results.  You could add "pattern" or "template" or other search parameters to the search string.

Beautiful!

Looks like a time-honored piece out of "Packing Iron"!
