Still practicing my basket weave. I think in about 50 years i might get the hang of it. Made these for the ladies at the bank. Who knows I might get lucky and one of them will bake me a cake. I hope.OOPS. I uploaded the pics twice.

Those are really nice! I can't run a straight basketweave stamp to save my life, even with all the tutorials you see on this site. I also like that you have spaces for credit cards, as not everyone uses a seperate register with their checks. How did you do the side with the card slots, if I may ask?

I just sew the little pockets on the flap one at a time. On the bottom of the pocket. I leave them long so I can cut them off at the to get a cleaner look. I also glue them in place. It makes them stronger and holds them in place while I sew.

Thank you so much for posting these pics. Sorry to say though, that I really can't see much because of the black on black. Maybe you could try some other colors? Do you have some scrap fabric or something that might show up better?

I tried to load these once already. Guess that shows how good i am with computers. I just sew the pockets on one at a time. i leave them long and cut them off when I'm done to get a cleaner look. I also glue them to hold them in place while I sew.
