Art Report post Posted April 10, 2012 Adam, Campbell Bosworth is in Yoakum which is down East of Austin. I don't normally recommend a Campbell as a first machine, but I have one and love it. Steve form Cobra is usually at the Boot and Saddlemakers Roundup at Wichita Falls in October and will have a machine to deliver there if you want to eliminate shipping. Bob also attends the same show and can probably do the same. Steve also attends the Cowboy Roundup in Amarillo, best check with him as to times and dates. The IFoLG Show this year is in Nashville October 18-21. Steve will probably be there, and maybe Bob too as it is reasonably close; you'll have to call them and ask. Always make arrangements for a show far ahead of time so they know to save you one of the machines. Art I am looking to buy a leather sewing machine. Thanks, Adam Nester Adam; If you're looking for used, check out Miami sewing, they have some good old heavy stitchers like Singer's 144w103, along with any other brand you may like. Gump. shannonH Report post Posted October 22, 2012 I bought a New Kingmax 441 and traded my Artisan. It's is alot smoother machine. But the dealer in denver had all kinds of used leather machines. When i was there they had used Nels, Cowboy, Adler, Singer machines. The nice thing about these people is they carry parts. Thats Important!!!! There is alot of companies selling new equipment or used equipment and don't have the attachments to make your work easier. They also customized my feet and made it in there machine shop. Call them! 1-800-525-0330 or email them there website is www.kingmax.us.com

coldpicnic Report post Posted November 11, 2012 Hi anester05, We've got a Tippmann Boss machine, which we purchased new in Jan 12. We used it once or twice, but realized it was best for heavier leather and haven't really been working with heavy leather. We live in NYC, so shipping might be pricy, but if you're still looking for something, feel free to email us! info@coldpicnic.com Peter
