Members mkspence Posted November 29, 2012 Members Report Posted November 29, 2012 I got mine recently from Black River Laser in Ohio. Fantastic Customer Service! I highly recommend them...but not metal. blackriverlaser@gmail.com You will hear from Joyce ASAP! Quote
Members Ken Nelson Posted November 29, 2012 Members Report Posted November 29, 2012 Infinity- super, super great! Steel Stamps Inc, Very Very good, but discuss the knurling before you order. I didn't and have one I hate the knurling on and have another that is not great, good but not great for me. Impressions are super good on both stamps. Infinity is a bit easier to line up straight but not a lot easier. I would recommend either. HTH Ken Quote

Members lwleathers Posted November 29, 2012 Members Report Posted November 29, 2012 Whats wrong with the plastic ones? Metal stamps like steel or brass are much more durable than plastic, especially the ones for hammering. Quote Cheers, Calvin www.lwleathers.com Custom Stamps - Heat Emboss - Branding Tools
Members EmbossingDieCompany Posted November 29, 2012 Members Report Posted November 29, 2012 Since I make the plastic ones......I highly recommend them!!! Less expensive and still durable. Members Glendon Posted December 1, 2012 Members Report Posted December 1, 2012 Metal stamps are more durable, but the Delrin plastic stamps will still last years of normal use. Working shops would want metal stamps for all but small batch projects, but hobbiests I think can use use a Delrin stamp easily for some time. Quote
raysouth Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 Phillips makes some nice stamps but have to say that the delrin stamps do work very well and I have several that after much use, are not indicating any wear. One of those preference things, for everyone making all the varied items produced today. Good luck. Ray Quote
Leela Valley Leather Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 I had Jeff at Grey Ghost Graphics make one for me, excellent work and great price (even with shipping to Australia). Quote
