Anyone know where to get 5/32 or 1/4 inch smooth leather lace, other than kangaroo? I had a bunch of spools of 5/32 from texas lace comp. but it appears they are no longer in business. Rick

I think most folks using the wide lace are using kangaroo.

You may have to cut your own from a side.

This brings up a question that I keep forgetting to ask. What weight leather should be used to make lace?

To ask Oaks, question again, what weight leather is best to use to cut your own lace? Thanks Billy P

Most folks that cut their own lace end up splitting it anyway, but for those who don't, a 2/3 oz should suffice.
