Put this together for the same fella that ordered the Ostrich Inlay set I posted a few weeks back.

While were at it, here is a shark trimmed IWB-6

And a bullfrog half panel pancake with matching mag carriers

And, one must keep the ladies happy

Those are all incredible.. Really like the one with the frog half panel, the contrast between the light and dark brown makes it very sharp.

Great looking stuff!! The lined, double-layered exotic in your first photo is particularly awesome. Nice job! My only critique would be the straight line on the ostrich over the mag carrier - everything else you've shown has such a nice, organic flow to the trim lines - the straight line doesn't seem to tie together with the holster as well as it could have with a more organic trim line. That's just a minor, one person's opinion though - fantastic looking gear!

Thanks again!

The mag carrier design was per the customers request and sketch. Both in the layout of the exotics as well as the spine to spine orientation of the mags.

He also requests that I not follow the profile where the dust cover slips up into the slide and instead stitch straight down instead of stepping over a stitch.

Not unreasonable requests, and as long as they do not create an unsafe condition or cause functionalty problems in the holster itself, I have no problem accomodating him.

Shooter, I absolutely love that bullfrog holster and mag pouches for the shorty 1911!! I don't know how many times I've looked at it! What color did the supplier call that bullfrog?

Hi Paul,

That is Terra Cotta. I have a few Cognac skins and they are very similar.

Are all these exotics from Roje', Dan?

The frog cames from John Fong. Dont bother looking for comprehensive website, just give him a call. Super nice guy.

The wallet is a Tandy kit that I added the ostrich to. Pretty simple assembly.

How do you trim and glue the ostrich? Best way to remove suede from skins? How to edge the ostrich?

Just starting to make a holster for my brother and he wants it in ostrich.
