Members shadowryder Posted January 3, 2013 Members Report Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) Well was asked to make a collar and leash for a friends dog last week, one n half inch wide by 35 inch long for collar and leash is 48 inches long. Used 3.mm/7 to 8 oZ veg tan for the job died with feibings acrylic black and finished with resoline. Basket weaved them both and added the dogs name to both. Do apologise for pics but something like this not easy to photo. What You all think. Edited January 3, 2013 by shadowryder Quote

Members Aurelie Posted January 6, 2013 Members Report Posted January 6, 2013 really nice tooling! but something "sad" = we can see the square shape of the edges of the tool used to stamp the letters.... 1 thing i do to fix it because it happens to me too) => use a spoon to "erase" the marks when leather is still damp before dying and finishing so that the result is neat Quote
Members shadowryder Posted January 8, 2013 Author Members Report Posted January 8, 2013 Aurelie, thanks for the spoon tip will try that, Everyone thanks for you comments, laters JJ Quote
