You should be able to find them on Ebay...very pricey in my oppinion !!!

Ya, I've found these on Ebay. It's priced at $15 and up that one and others that are similar. They are distributed from Japan. I am looking for suppliers here in North American, and without the high price tag per unit.

I think the Japanese guys invented these, I don't think they are available for cheap. I've looked too

I've seen snap hooks that are kind of close but have a prong that closes it.

2nd link isn't working right. When you get to the site put brass eye hook in the search box.

In fact put in "brass eye hook" in any search engine and a whole lot of goodies comes up under jewelry clasps. You have to wade thru a lot of weeds to find what you want.

There are similar hooks available at sail rigging shops, called reefing hooks. Don't know about size or costs but you never know sometimes you get lucky. Gump
