How do you get that dull, waxy flat finish? These are great wallets! I am envious of your skills! :notworthy:

It's not a flat finish...just a bad picture...lol...If you look at the other pictures you'll see it has a shiny finish.

Thank you !

The pattern is nothing out of the ordinary ...it's just something I came up with ...a lot of trial and error. Most of the biker wallets out there have pretty much the same lay-out ...zipper pocket, large bills pockets and cards pockets. You can actually buy kits on e-bay of pre-cut panels...you just have to put them together and add your own touch. Edited by LeatherLegion

Here is a minimalist wallet I put together using the same dies I am using for my bi-fold wallet. It has 2 small card pockets, a larger pocket in the middle and measures 4.5in / 3.5in . I riveted a small ring to it so I can attach my keys...so it's pretty much a wallet key-chain...lol...Any comments are welcome. Thank you !1095087_10200501962446918_1830133136_n.jpg1148978_10200501962326915_1920739869_n.jpg1150333_10200507248139057_1587926009_n.jpg1150405_10200507247939052_709491386_n.jpg

Nice work.

Is there some form of gusset between the outside of the wallet and the zipper pocket on the 7 inch. wallets?

Thank you for sharing.

No gusset...that'll be to much work for me...lol...

Very good work. I like your designs. I'm not knowledgeable enough yet to make my own patterns, so I but the ready made interiors. Thanks for sharing.

Here is the same simple bi-fold design made out of 4oz veg tan . The pockets are stitched using #138 thread and the outside stitching in done on my CB4500 using #207 thread and a #23 needle. Edges are finished just with bees wax1379530_10200946850888851_1489622585_n.jpg1379513_10200946850928852_709228827_n.jpg1378404_10200946851128857_1957645516_n.jpg1380125_10200946851528867_1617542789_n.jpg

Good works! Can I ask you how did you make the internal pockets? Thanx in advance!

I used a cutting die for the pockets and then just stitch them on...same goes for the outside pocket
