quick mask for school play

Recommended Posts

i havent felt inspired to make a mask for a long time, but Casey needed a mask for a school play so i made this simple mask for her. The second photo where the mask is with friends shows the color better.

Airbrushed with red, purple and gold acrylic paint.

Love them all but I agree with Sodapop something about the leafy one that stands out from the rest for me.

Roo,

Nice work. I know what you mean about being inspired. It is one thing to do something that some one has paid for and another to do it for your self. Since I have a full time job outside of leather, I can be selective on what I do in leather. Even when asked to do something for someone I make sure they are in no hurry.

I have always liked what you do with masks. Don't worry your muse will return.

Beautiful masks! I haven't tried using an airbrush yet. Any recommendations on what make and model to get?

hi hellcat...you will find quite a few posts on airbrushes in these forums...i personally like my paascheVL siphon feed (bottle at the bottom) for large areas and i use my IWATA gravity feed (attached bowl at the top) for detail work...i feel the iwata is a much better airbrush for detailed work as you can spray a very fine spray and it has much better control.

i wish i had bought the iwata first...4 airbrushes later i realise you get what you pay for.
