Members TimberWolf Posted September 29, 2008 Members Report Posted September 29, 2008 Hey all, this is a tank panel I completed recently. It is for a Harley Softail. I don't usually trim one this way because of the extra time involved, but I like the look. The bone and beads are all natural materials....no plastic. Each row is wired onto the pocket, with a leather backing to keep the wire hidden and secure. Thanks for taking a look, Tim Quote

Members WVTriker Posted September 29, 2008 Members Report Posted September 29, 2008 Very sharp! The beads and Indian head snap really do set it off. Well worth the extra time and effort you put into it, IMHO. Greg Quote

A useful piece to boot. Is that a snap with the cool head? Nice! Do you have any concerns about your customer tugging on it, or did you do something special to accommodate the extra wear/ tear/pulling of that piece - I know I am always in and out of my "cases" all day when on the bike, those pieces see alot of use. TomSwede Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 Oh that is really nice and clean! Good design and details. Just gotta love this one, the indian head tops it off so great. Tom Quote
Members TimberWolf Posted September 30, 2008 Author Members Report Posted September 30, 2008 Art & Tom, ...Thanks! Steve- Thanks,.. the Indian is actually a screwback concho. There is a velcro strip under the flap for closure. With this style of pocket, a snap doesn't allow for expansion or adjustment so the velcro works best. Quote
