Members a9mmfan Posted May 1, 2014 Members Report Posted May 1, 2014 Only my second attempt at filigree Quote
Members Rohn Posted May 1, 2014 Members Report Posted May 1, 2014 I like that. Looks great from here. Quote
Members Wild Bill46 Posted May 2, 2014 Members Report Posted May 2, 2014 Really, a neat-O-idea, I need to make one of these Butt ends for mine too. For only a second attempt, your tooling looks fine, stitching will get better as time passes too ! They say, Practice makes perfect, And it does. But, I still like it, as is ! Quote

Members a9mmfan Posted May 2, 2014 Author Members Report Posted May 2, 2014 Thanks BubbaJon, I've been here for a while as a guest, but this was the first piece that I've felt like it was at least entry level acceptable. Still got light years to go compared to most of you artists. Quote

I need to post my last holster with confessions on my screw-ups/"learning experiences". Quote

Members chiefjason Posted July 10, 2014 Members Report Posted July 10, 2014 Nice. Reminds me I need to make one for my new single shot rifle. I need some onboard ammo somewhere. Quote

I haven't made one with a cheek rest yet, but I did chop up a pair of cheap wlamart foam knee pads to give a little cushion underneath a cuff I made for the 12ga. I might give the other one a go as a cheek rest. Quote
