Members MonicaJacobson Posted May 27, 2014 Members Report Posted May 27, 2014 Very nice! I especially like the first one, the fifth one, and the last, plain one. Quote
Members Rohn Posted May 28, 2014 Members Report Posted May 28, 2014 Those are all very beautiful. You do really nice carvings. Quote
Members keplerts Posted May 29, 2014 Members Report Posted May 29, 2014 Wow, Very nice work! Your carvings and designs are great! What type and size of leather? What is the finish? Great work! Tom Quote
Members Brushpopper Posted May 29, 2014 Author Members Report Posted May 29, 2014 Thanks, compadres. I use 8/9 ounce vegetable-tanned leather. I never dye - I apply a coat of pure olive oil and then give the leather a suntan. That way I try to duplicate an old-time finish. They rarely dyed way back. Quote

Members Wild Bill46 Posted May 29, 2014 Members Report Posted May 29, 2014 I too wish, I was that well versed in tooling, and for that matter design as well. Just like Monica I liked the 1st, but then straight on through the 8th picture as well. Super nice work ! Quote
