Wow, Very nice work! Your carvings and designs are great! What type and size of leather? What is the finish?

Thanks, compadres. I use 8/9 ounce vegetable-tanned leather. I never dye - I apply a coat of pure olive oil and then give the leather a suntan. That way I try to duplicate an old-time finish. They rarely dyed way back.

I too wish, I was that well versed in tooling, and for that matter design as well.

Just like Monica I liked the 1st, but then straight on through the 8th picture as well. Super nice work !

yeahhhhh....your work....haha...you wish!!!

You went back in time in a secret time machine and ended up in southern Montana in a Hardware and supply store and bought all the holsters the clerk had in stock....then you went back in time and showing it off here....hahaaaaaaa..... :cowboy::rofl::cowboy:

Super nice craftsmanship, sharp tooling and sooooo authentic looking.....very well done...Ohhh and when you go the next time can I come too...I need an original SA Colt in 45 or sooo.....and a few Winchesters and, and....and....aaahhhhmm.
