What size thread do you use for hand gun holsters?

Bigger looks better so most people use at least 277 & some use 346.

What would that be in mm's? Im thinking about using red instead of usual white.

277 measures at .65mm if that helps

I agree, most holster makers (including John Bianchi) use 277 on top and bottom. This is what John uses on his COBRA Class 4. Steve

What size needle goes with the 277 thread? #25 or a #24?

This may help. As you can see the 277 can use a 25-28 size needle. Its a good chart to have.
