Constabulary Report post Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) Yesterday I was able to acquire some nice parts for the Adler 5 / Singer 45K. It was a 2 hrs trip but when you want something you have to take the pain. I was hunting for an original roller foot since the days I had my Adler 104 but never have found one. Now that I have my Singer 133K3 I finally had some luck. All parts are made by Adler but a lot will fit for the 45K as well. Roller foot will go on my 133K A very nice and pretty rare part is the extended (holster ?) throat plate + feed dog. I have no machine for it but will definitely keep this one - you never know. Frankqv Report post Posted December 13, 2014 Nice find,would you know if the feed Dogs would fit a 45K,I think they would if they came off a 104-8 which is the same feed as my K53.Could you let me know the offset of the mounting to the feed dog. jimi Report post Posted December 15, 2014 Oh! you were lucky there Folker, I had asked this seller to sell me some parts but he did not reply back to me, and that roller foot was one I think I should have asked him in German? maybe next time. maybe you could show us how you use the raw edge binder attachment and the other one that is similar. what set up do you use - Needle plate, feed dog. as you know, a picture of an attachment will not explain how it is used correctly. jimi Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Darren Brosowski Report post Posted January 4, 2015 To my surprise there are a number of new parts that fit the 45k. I have modified the shuttle race off another machine and it is perfect. There is also a commercially available shuttle race ring that fits. Both are now listed on ebay along with needle plate screws, needle clamps, roller feet, NOS feed dogs and shuttles. By the end of January needle plates will be added to the range. I can also get a rather ugly looking foot but have nothing except the sample yet. Langston Report post Posted January 4, 2015 Hey just bought a 1915 45k25.. the needle plate was broke when I bought it. And only has a pressure foot that is broke but functional..
