Chief31794 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 One of the new members here, Longbowdave1 has a daughter graduating as a Registered Nurse in the Spring and he wanted a purse to commemorate the occasion to give her. I hadn't carved a Caduceus before, a little tedious, but I think it turned out okay. The last picture was a production progress shot I sent him after the carving and dying but before the finishing, hole punching and lacing was accomplished. I have been sharing pictures with friends and family of the "Nurse Purse", and they can't believe what a fantastic job you did making it!
