Members gmace99 Posted March 20, 2015 Members Report Posted March 20, 2015 This is two saddles I made the side saddle was one I made for the Master Saddler competition in London. I won a premium award for it. The other saddle is a English style jump saddle. I made that just to make a saddle that looked different from others on the market. I am lucky enough to have a job that can double up as a hobby. If any of you guys want to see lots of pictures of a General purpose saddle getting made you can find them on my shops Facebook page under the pictures section. look up Dosthill Saddlery Quote

Members gmace99 Posted March 20, 2015 Author Members Report Posted March 20, 2015 Thanks Guys. In time I will load up about 200 pictures I have of a saddle getting made stage by stage to my uksaddlery.com site Quote
Members Grey Drakkon Posted March 20, 2015 Members Report Posted March 20, 2015 The sense of avarice I had when looking at that first saddle surprised me. Especially since I have never wanted to ride side saddle. Or even have a horse. I think I'd have a stroke if i got my hands on that saddle anyway. It's simply gorgeous! The colors on the jumping saddle are lovely, especially how the colors contrast. Quote
Members leatherwytch Posted March 20, 2015 Members Report Posted March 20, 2015 Those are amazing saddles. The English Saddle to me is the Ferrari of saddles, so comfortable. The side saddle I would have loved to try in my younger days. I hear riding side saddle is quite dangerous. Those saddles are stunning, Quote
