electrathon Report post Posted January 25, 2008 I like the stiching. Like the background pattern. Very nice tooling. Needs decorative cuts. Aaron
TomSwede Report post Posted January 25, 2008 That is very beautiful, I don't know much about floral but I just love the different tones of brown and the nice touch with that black backgrounding. Tom

Yeah, I agree with ya on the decorative cuts, but I either need more practice, or more confidence in that area. I just fiqured I'd play it safe having gotten to that point, and not having to throw in the scrap bin. Steve Edited January 26, 2008 by outcast
dbarleather Report post Posted January 26, 2008 Steve, I really like it. What did you use for the background? Blends in perfect. Congrats! Daryl
freak Report post Posted January 26, 2008 Very nice !! what's the inside look like and the other side ?? I like the pebbling effect. Light hand and it gives it just the right amount of texture. Well done !!
outcast Report post Posted January 26, 2008 (edited) The black background within the flowers was done with Craftool's A104. The texturing of the wallet back was done with Craftools E294 series. The inside is Kangaroo. Here's a pic. Steve Edited January 26, 2008 by outcast

Roger Report post Posted January 26, 2008 looks pretty good! decritive cuts are something that needs to be deliberate and a good touch. do lots of looking and get a feel for where they should be and how they should be shaped. they should start deep and taper out
