I particularly like the yellow belt. Kind of a Batman thing. Really sets off the blue gun!

You're right, a red holster would have been over the top.

Yes, I AM a smart a$$

So much leather...so little time.

'Yellow belt' is spelled S C R A P L E A T H E R :)  I have an embossing wheel thingie, and that's a piece of scrap I used to center it.  Now, it gets used to shape the loop in the back (long as it holds up).

Better pic now available (show me section).

I'm actually researching a double mag pouch with just a belt loop on the back - like this one.

Billy, I know that pattern comes from the 1911 style patterns sold at Tandy leather. I hope that helps a bit. I picked it up here st my local shop for 6.00.

Some of these patterns in the process of becoming "kits" (glue not included ;) ).  Natural Hermann Oak A-grade, though I may add some drum dyed down the road.

Front and back are die-cut, 'extra' piece included for reinf panel or dye test (you cut to suit).  More dies being made ...

Yeah, mostly  No glue included, anda fella gotta git his / her own awl and needle.  But there's a price for the "set" of stuff plus pattern, and a separate price for 'hey, i already paid for that pattern once jus gimme the leather stuff" ;)

Course, nothin' as fancy as stretching / shrinking / distorting that tooling design from page 18 of Stohlman's "how to make holsters" -- that's not mine to sell and anyway that's been done to death already

Lame.  Just lame.  Just a lousy 96,348 free holster pattern downloads.  Pathetic ...

Oh, wait -- that's just the free ones, so it's all good.

Must have slowed down a bit - maybe need to upload something new?  As of this morning, total of 127,748 free downloads.  The winner?  Glock 19 pancake style holster (6,024 downloads).
