Images In Signatures Should Be Banned

Would you consider removing the option of having an image in your signature?

I find it very distracting when members have a huge image of their generic looking logo / company name in the signature. It is a thing of the past.. We don't live in the 90's or 00's anymore

I would be somewhat okay with it if there were a limit in how high it could be..

Did you know ... You can ignore all signatures, or just ones posted by a particular user? Put your mouse just beneath a post, at the top right corner of the signature, and an X will appear. Click on it, and it gives you the options to ignore.

Well that solves it then! Thank you!.. Now people just have to live with my very nice signature but that shouldn't be a problem.. they don't care anyway

I wondered why you objected to your own signature because I saw your urls with the name in it. But it was obviously just to advertise. What a cutesy ploy. BTW I didn't go to thee urls because I realized they were yours. You can contact admin for advertising........Cheryl

I think you miss the point. I made the signature 1 hour ago to make a point of how stupid they are.. And concerning the advertising.. what am I selling? Nothing..

And now we are at it. Do we really need all the information thats under peoples profile picture?. In the post right above mine the poster wrote 2 lines but the post itself could contain around 20 line due to all the information about interests, specialty and so on.

My interest is to make this forum better and more easy to read. Many threads have multiple pages and all of that "dead space" just make it harder to go through fast.

Sure you get use to it but that does not mean that things should stay the same forever.

If you go to the bottom left of the screen and hit the Change Theme button, you can choose Mobile mode. No signatures, just content.
