Hockeymender Report post Posted October 28, 2015 Being an owner of three 335 machines I can say they are excellent machines and with reasonable care will last a lifetime. The issue is how thick is the leather you are looking to sew. Thinner belts, bags and the like the 335 will handle. Not sure about the bike saddles. If however, you are looking to get into heavier leather, then you will need to look at a bigger machine.
dikman Report post Posted October 28, 2015 Also, that one is set up as an edge binder. Unless the other parts are included you may have to buy extra feet, needle plate etc.
DrmCa Report post Posted October 29, 2015 It has regular throat plate, but I cannot swear for the foot set and feed dog as the picture is grainy around them.
dikman Report post Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) Oops, you're right about the needle plate (and feed dog). It's a bit hard to tell about the feet, though, but they look a bit on the small side. The fact that it has that arm cover plate, however, suggests that it was originally used as an edge binder. It also has the flip-down edge guide (which you wouldn't need with the binder). A peculiar mix, but could be a good buy if the price was right. Edited October 29, 2015 by dikman
