First And Last Time I Order From Black River Laser

I am getting ready to make some belts for the Holidays and opened my order from Black River Laser that I received in Oct 2015. It had a few items, one which was to be a 6 piece 1-1/4" & 1-1/2" belt end template set with tapered & square ends. What I received was a 10 piece set with NO SQUARE ENDS. The receipt said "Upgraded to 10 piece template". This is a great example of "bait and switch", don't have 6 piece set, so throw something in the package and ship it. I paid and received something I didn't order and didn't want. To bad they didn't have a 15 piece set that included the square ends, that would have been a real upgrade.

P.S. I would have called Joyce, but Black River Laser knows what they did.

Yep, I've had days like that too. Since it is your business, and you are in top management; it is often necessary to try and turn lemons into lemonade. Just call them and try and work it out painlessly. Maybe they can just send you the square ends you need and make it painless for everyone. You gotta give them a chance, they have to run their business too, and quite often with help who knows no more about leatherworking than I do about alligator hunting.

Art, I would have called them, but no number just ebay site that said I'll be open on the 30th.

Thanks,for your responds, I sometimes need to just vent. I do have to say that, their templates are very nice.

I might have called them. Once. Truth be told, it's not MY responsibility to make sure some ELSE hires decent people. If you hire people who don't know that they're doing, that's YOUR issue.

New year coming, and already i'm making more changes. I'll be ordering from places who DIDN'T send me the wrong item, or a lower grade than I paid for, or the wrong weight.

Life is way too short to be accountable for someone ELSE'S mistakes.
