Members RichInStl Posted January 5, 2016 Members Report Posted January 5, 2016 New to the forum- I thought I would post my latest project. This is an arm brace I made over the weekend. I'm still refining my leather stamping technique, and I will say that the new water based eco-stains have me a bit befuddled- stain always seems to go on too dark or too light! But I did try a resist technique on the center leaf and was fairly happy with that, as well as the addition of an interior leather 'flap'. I do a lot of archery, and elastic paracord tends to cut off your circulation if it is a)too tight (too many laces) or b)is directly against your skin. Quote

Members Grey Drakkon Posted January 5, 2016 Members Report Posted January 5, 2016 Really nice background! I particularly like the darker leaves interrupting the pattern. Quote "Everyone with telekinesis, raise my hand!" -Repairman Jack
Members club49 Posted January 6, 2016 Members Report Posted January 6, 2016 What kind of resist did you use? I really like the background, comes together nicely. Jim Quote
