THein Report post Posted March 18, 2016 Awhile back, a lady that gives riding lessons asked me to make something to help a child with a spine disorder to enable her to ride a horse while two people walked alongside to assist her in staying on. This is what I came up with, skirting leather, latigo straps and roller buckles. Made the straps a little long so it'll fit somebody a bit bigger if needed. Handles from the hardware store for the helpers to hang on. I guess she's having a real good time.
ChriJ Report post Posted March 18, 2016 Very nice. I'm sure she's excited and you've given her the opportunity to do something that will bring her great pleasure. Chris
Grey Drakkon Report post Posted March 18, 2016 Great job, and you've helped out a lot of people by making that. My niece as SMA and does riding therapy, it helps her and other people on so many levels.

Boriqua Report post Posted March 18, 2016 Wish I had something like that when I still had my various motorcycles. My wife is probably the only person in the world that can fall asleep on the back of a moving motorcycle. At least she would have had something to hold on to! THein Report post Posted March 19, 2016 Great job, and you've helped out a lot of people by making that. My niece as SMA and does riding therapy, it helps her and other people on so many levels. Another nice thing about the situation is, the lady giving the ridings lessons (there are also some others), are organized as "non profit". They're doing it for $0.00. Wild Bill46 Report post Posted March 22, 2016 Good thought went into your making of this belt ! But further, those less fortunate can now be part of an otherwise closed society- (at least to them) Great deed, and great work ! --- Wild Bill46
