Members DS STRAPS Posted March 22, 2016 Members Report Posted March 22, 2016 Here is a mechanic belt I made this weekend with the initials "JD". I used a opened end wrench and an allen key to make the pattern on both sides of the initials. Thank you for looking! Quote
Members Grey Drakkon Posted March 22, 2016 Members Report Posted March 22, 2016 Great use of the tools, it's abstract enough that you look twice to see what it is. Quote
Members brmax Posted March 23, 2016 Members Report Posted March 23, 2016 As a retired mechanic that's cool. Quote
Members billybopp Posted March 23, 2016 Members Report Posted March 23, 2016 More like way to think outside the toolbox! I like it! Bill Quote

Members Halitech Posted March 25, 2016 Members Report Posted March 25, 2016 I really like the way you used the tools but I have to admit, and maybe it's just me, but I had to look a few different times before I actually saw the JD. Now that I do, cool work Quote
Members Sporty1 Posted March 26, 2016 Members Report Posted March 26, 2016 Very Nice! What a unique idea. Quote
Members KYCat Posted April 23, 2016 Members Report Posted April 23, 2016 Great idea! I'd like to use that on a belt for my son... he'll love it- thanks for caring and sharing Quote
Members bob21804 Posted April 24, 2016 Members Report Posted April 24, 2016 Very cool idea with the tools. I like that. (I also had difficulty seeing the "JD") Quote
Members chriscraft Posted April 24, 2016 Members Report Posted April 24, 2016 This would look cool with the entire open wrench set on each side. smallest to biggest ending with the larger wrench toward the back leaving space for name or initials. Quote
Members ofastauto Posted April 29, 2016 Members Report Posted April 29, 2016 I Like it!!!!! Great Job!! Quote

(I also had difficulty seeing the "JD") I was going to use a 1" alphabet stamp for the "JD" but thought it looked a little traditional and would be to small and not fill the area so I just drew something up that would fill the area a bit more Quote
