New Bag I finished for a customer. Its not for everyone, but he asked for it and it came out nice I think. False buckle with parachute clip behind buckle strap. So buckle is secured but it quick releases which is cool.

The road warrior briefcase.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Undoubtedly the work of a pro! Admirable craftsmanship!

Is the basketweave cut by hand?

Quick question? How much would you all retail this bag at? I am now offering it and trying to find my price. I have about 60 hours of labor and $200 in materials in it.Thanks!

Thanks for the info!

As of the price I actually don't feel qualified to put in my two cents, but on a gut level I'd say: a grand. In order to avoid the fourth digit you could reduce your hourly wage to 13 bucks.

I'd say price wise that with the embossed basket weave and no studs $800.00

The bag as pictured $1000.00

If you have to hand tool the basket weave $1400.00

The bag looks great!

Your in Long Beach or Pedro so you have a very large market to offer it up to, areas that have some excess cash to spend.  However those are the same people who like to hang on to their cash and nickel and dime you, but then again Hunting Beach and O. C. is just down the 405.  Nice work another thought but I think it has already passed is the artists fair in Laguna, just kind of thinking out load here.

Outstanding work, literally the Humvee of briefcases.  Love the stitching, especially the double rows, very nice!

This is a great design and is executed quite well. I like the little add on cell pocket on the gusset.

I wonder if it is hand stitched or are the studs put on at the end after machine stitching? They are right on the stitch line on the front middle of the bag. Pretty hard to machine sew this with the hardware in place, and installing the hardware after would leave the prongs visible on the inside. If it is hand stitched, there is just enough room beside the hardware.  Just curious, how was it done?

The studs are not alot of work when you compare it to all of the stitching on the bag. Even by machine this is not an easy task to get all the stitch lines neat and parallel. Half of the stitch lines are doubled up. I would guess that there are 2 internal dividers based on the stitch lines. I would price it closer to 1000 with/without the studs myself, It is a pretty complex bag.  If it did not have the dividers and the quick release straps and the cell pocket, i might go under a grand.
