This is a hat band which I have made. It is for a ladies hat so colours are quite vivid.  Made from 2mm kangaroo lace.

That's INSANE.  Makes any tooling and designing I ever did look like a kid's toy :blush: Nice1!

I am still trying to work out how to use this site. Thought your name might have been a give away.  I just might call in as I don't know too many others who work leather.  I am a hobby leather worker.  I do some practical work when something breaks but other wise decorative braids for the fun of it.  Trying to find a decent red hide at the moment. Might try Packers. Where do you get your leather?

Toowoomba saddlery has great service and ask for Terry and remind him I said he would help you (Normally business). East Coast leathers in Brisbane are pretty good and a fair range. New South Wales Leather Co in Sydney ( ask for Claud and say I said so) Lefflers and sons in Melbourne for a very large range also. Mac Lace in Brisbane are good for lacing quality and cost.Let me know if you need something specific. Regards Brian
