gesa Report post Posted July 13, 2006 Hello all, This one was for a draft horse XXL, they wanted to change the buckles later, that's why I used chicago screws. I prefer sewn in buckles. This is a halter for my horse, it is completly handsewn with 6 stitches per inch. The white lace is alum tanned.
pella Report post Posted March 1, 2007 Hello Gesa, i love your headstall, look like western style riding is very popular in Germany. Your work is beautiful, i like the flowers you carved. Halter is very nice as well! Nice stitching!
gesa Report post Posted March 2, 2007 Westernriding becomes more and more popular in Germany and Europe. It is still a bit exotic but it changes. Since I bought a paint horse 7 years ago I am interested in western saddlery. The flowers on the bridle are a belt design from the lucky 8 pattern book.
