Headstall and halter

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

This one was for a draft horse XXL, they wanted to change the buckles later, that's why I used chicago screws. I prefer sewn in buckles.

This is a halter for my horse, it is completly handsewn with 6 stitches per inch. The white lace is alum tanned.

Hello Gesa,

i love your headstall, look like western style riding is very popular in Germany.

Your work is beautiful, i like the flowers you carved. Halter is very nice as well! Nice stitching!

Westernriding becomes more and more popular in Germany and Europe. It is still a bit exotic but it changes. Since I bought a paint horse 7 years ago I am interested in western saddlery.

The flowers on the bridle are a belt design from the lucky 8 pattern book.
