Members giddybiddy Posted June 1, 2017 Members Report Posted June 1, 2017 Hello, all! I'm looking to create something similar to this, and I love the dainty look of the fasteners. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea what they are. I lost this bracelet, so I can't remember what the back looked like, but it doesn't look like a rivet--or at least not a traditional one. http://imgur.com/a/9bzQw Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Quote
Members Mattsbagger Posted June 1, 2017 Members Report Posted June 1, 2017 (edited) Looks like a copper rivet domed over without the burr on it. Just a guess. Edited June 1, 2017 by Mattsbagger Quote
Contributing Member LatigoAmigo Posted June 1, 2017 Contributing Member Report Posted June 1, 2017 It looks like a small single-cap rivet, much like the ones you will find at this link: http://www.rings-things.com/Products/Crafted-Findings-Assorted-Rivets-1-16-Sample-Pack.html?gclid=CjwKEAjw07nJBRDG_tvshefHhWQSJABRcE-ZVaGiD0XMi7fomjlOT13d58HROuoW7RG49Cg5JNRloRoCcDjw_wcB Quote
Members MM2CVS9 Posted June 1, 2017 Members Report Posted June 1, 2017 They are "nail head rivets", Copper or brass. Quote
Members Bodean Posted June 1, 2017 Members Report Posted June 1, 2017 Nail head rivets, as mentioned above. A demo here. http://www.supplyzonediy.com/how-to-rivet-with-nail-head-rivets-and-use-the-wrap-n-tap-tool/ Quote
