Yeah the letters of laid out like usual, then carved, then I do the base color dye then I just antique depending on what color I want the letters to be I use liquitex acrylic paints. Not hard at all. Yep on resist.. three coats of my top coat, apply acrylics like antiquing gel, wipe off excess, inspect, add more if needed, wipe again with a ever so slightly wet paper towel, let dry, top coat again three coats. Of course don't forget to oil after buffing dye, and prior to applying top coat. (Super secret top coat formula= 50/50 mop n glo + h2o) shhhh no telling...;) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
