There is so much info and great people I will be checking often. My name is Justin Davies and I live in Three Forks, MT. I was bit by the leather bug in 1998 and in 2000 started building saddles. The pic is my latest. I work part-time on a ranch/feedlot and part-time saddlemaker. My wife is an equine photographer and computer guru. (I moved this from member gallery to saddle gallery as I hoped to get some critique. There seems to be alot of good ideas to gain from everyone, and as I'm fairly new to saddle building any comments are appreciated.) Quote

Are the angled welts harder to put in than the welts coming straitht down the side of the fork? I haven't put any angled welts in yet and am just curious. The only difference is be sure to pull the leather up around the bottom of the swells tight. Quote
