They are lighter than chinks or chaps. Armitas means "little armor". Here are a pair of Armitas that I just finished up. They are step in, with a traditional tie string. It's nice to learn something new. I like them. Are they easier or harder to make than chinks? Are there any patterns out there for them? I'd like to make a pair. I dont know of any patterns I just looked at different pictures and going from that an my knowledge of making chaps and chinks I just set out and made a pair. I am not sure if they are right or not.
