I dunno about no secrets. I see cut-and-painted edges, rolled handles, a zip, a (probably hanging) fabric lining... all textbook techniques, but executed well and with care. Decent looking materials and some investment in machines and tooling. Oh and design. Then there's the marketing... now there's the secret...

Mostly interested in the sewing portion of the production. I was able to find more pictures. I’ve spotted flat, cylinder and post bed machines. They have a ton of designs but I’m most interested in the execution of bags like this:8D079B39-C24E-467A-B2CB-74E255DDA832.thumb.jpeg.4e7993bb2cd4acfb5cd79d84daa31447.jpeg

This is interesting. I've been curious about their manufacturing myself. I assumed that outside lap seam was done on a post machine. Please post more photos if you find any. I also wondered what company in Italy fuses the lining to the outside leather. That black bag is a somewhat stiff Saffiano leather but the fused lining is smooth. I have a post machine and its difficult to get through the machine.

My coworker has one of the bucket bags. The lining feels almost felt-like. Very curious about who does it/how it is done.

From what I’ve read they (Mansur and Gavriel based in Los Angeles) experimented with a lot of different techniques including silk screening the inside of the bags. Eventually they found a company in Italy that could do this fused lining. Some of the bags have a shinny patent leather fused lining

So the made in Italy label is somewhat misleading?

No the bags are made in Italy. The leather is also sourced in Italy. Just the two woman who design the bags are based in LA.
