Guest Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 (edited) Sometime ago I mentioned a notepad that I was doing for my wife's birthday. I did finish it and now show it to you all. It is from a Chan Geer tape that was actually rather well done. Dave Theobald Edited June 8, 2007 by David Quote

Members joel_in_bhm Posted June 8, 2007 Members Report Posted June 8, 2007 Very Nice. What do you sew with and how do you sew. I have noticed it before on your seats..... your sewing is very distinctive. Quote
Contributing Member Regis Posted June 8, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted June 8, 2007 Very nice gift and very well done. I just sent in application to Chan Geer workshop at IFoLG. Quote God, Family, and Country (although liberals are attempting to destroy these in the USA)

Members candyleather Posted June 8, 2007 Members Report Posted June 8, 2007 I'm sure that your wife prefer that wonderful notepad before the biggest diamond. Very nice your work Quote
pepin1948 Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 (edited) Hmmmm, candyleather that's a tough choice! Tim bought me a beautiful set of jewelry when our son was born - sapphire and diamond - but leatherwork can be alot more versatile and useful. Edited June 9, 2007 by wildrose Quote

Joel, I'm sorry I missed your question; I guess it is distictive because Iam such a rookie at it! I use a Tandy product, I think it is called braided sinew. It is creme to yellowish in color and is waxed. I sew by hand...no stitching pony. Dave Theobald Quote
