That work has been on this forum before. Last year sometime, if I remember correctly. Couldn't say where, but it raised quite a few eyebrows at the time. Amazing edges.

So much leather...so little time.

I am only guessing, buttero or cordovan?

Something more expensive than I have been able to afford.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

halfmoonleather on instagram was just showing off some avancorp horse fronts that are beautiful and apparently hand burnish well, and may start selling it by the square foot! If I don't get a fileteuse for all this pigskin I have(that doesn't hand burnish) I may have to start ordering stuff like this.

Ok I was browsing Rocky Mountain Leather Supply this morning and low and behold.

This stuff is expensive, but looks really nice.

And think about it, to get the multi-colored work, you need to buy all the colors!

A little bit more than 14.00 a foot. I guess it's not insanely high?
