Members plinkercases Posted February 19, 2018 Members Report Posted February 19, 2018 My son A) loves Foo Fighters and B) gets a reaction from metal belt buckles (doesn't like tucking his shirt in..) so this is the first thing out of the newly organized farm shop. Based on the mechanic buckle less belt this seems to meet his requirements. The FF larger keeper can detach so if he changes bands.... Biggest lesson here was that my hands are way less steady than when I was painting military models.... way less... Quote

Members Retswerb Posted February 20, 2018 Members Report Posted February 20, 2018 As a fellow Foo Fighters fan, I wholeheartedly approve! I’d love to see the back side of the keeper and how it’s attached - got any more pics? Quote
Members plinkercases Posted February 20, 2018 Author Members Report Posted February 20, 2018 Thanks lads. fredk I agree that the letters need to be "knocked down" a little. I am not a fan of painting on leather personally but he is thrilled so that's all that matters. Retswerb (Brewster?) The keeper is closed with stitching and attached by 4 line 16 snaps so it can come off for a new favourite band... I'll see if I can get it off him long enough to take picture. Quote
Members AdamPCain Posted February 21, 2018 Members Report Posted February 21, 2018 Very nice my favorite band what did you use to paint the letters? Angelus leather show paint works great on leather and it is very durable. Quote
