My wife benefits from my love of leathercraft once again. Every time I get a new pattern, by her request, she gets the first one off the assembly line. She gets a lot of use  out of this veg tanned long wallet I made just over a month ago. I recently started applying leather dyes with an airbrush as I did with this wallet. This has become my favorite way to apply dyes and coatings because of the good looking results.

I like it. Very neat, nice and smooth. I can see why she likes to use your offerings.

Kindest regards

Brian

Nice looking wallet - where did you get the pattern?

I have also switched to applying dyes and finishes with an airbrush - less waste and good results!

I got the acrylic pattern from a company called MakeSupply in Philadelphia. The web site is: www.makesupply-leather.com. They have an array of really nice pattern of which I own several. Here is a pic of the front of the wallet. It comes in 2 different styles.

I have that pattern in digital download. Where the bill slots are square on the end I made them round. It's cleaner to cut and burnish. Also the digital is free. I have other acrylics of his too.

Rounding off those bill slots is a good idea. I'll have to do that next time around.
