Cereal boxes are perfect for pattern making, for those that need pattern material fast

absolutely, been doing this for awhile for patterns that don't require full sheet of posterboard, when I'm done with them and they're good I also use a cheap pocket laminating machine to protect them...helps keep the edges from getting messed up from tracing and I can draw customizing marks with dry erase and wipe them off when done.

That a great idea, I think I'll try packaging tape on edges thank

I don't eat anywhere near as much cereal as is there soda and beer drinking going on here. 12 and 24 pack beverage boxes also work extremely well for templates.

Ohh, never thought of doing that! (I'm not a big soda drinker, and I need the beer boxes to take the empties back)  :D

I do use Cheerios boxes for patterns though.
