Here is an older card wallet design i made , using now glazed pig skin for lining and pockets  ..I am so happy with the outcome that i had to post it under "show off"

Also first time using  my new acquisition,  Nakajima 341 ...excellent machine !

Any comments including critiques  are welcomed

Very nice wallet. Can’t fault it from where I’m looking. (Except I favour hand stitching) Beautiful texture to the pigskin. What is the printed leather?

I am still fighting with the back side when hand stitching.and i didn't want to take any chances on this wallet as  it took me about 2 hours to make it...lol...I also wanted to try that Nakajima even though i dont have a motor for it yet  and i had to turn it by hand

The print is an older piece of leather i had for over 6-7 years  from the time i used to make dog collars ...used it as an inlay. I's a croc belly print , 3-4oz probably

Very nice!  I like the hand stitch look as well, but some pieces really look better with a neat straight stitch line like yours, it lets your eyes focus on other details, I like the colors and texture, but my favorite part is the top edges on the pockets... That can take some time to nail down perfect like that.

I used an adjustable edge creaser (like the one pictured)heated with a regular lighter ..i am happy that detailed didn't go unnoticed . Thanks !

Heyyyyy, i have one of those, but never really use it much...haven't tried heating it first tho...i also have one of the 2.0mm creasers that works pretty well like this, i used it to make the fold lines and edge creases on the wallet below...maybe if i heat it a little first it will give a better result on the rolled edges?

Heat definitely adds to the creasing effect.  However, plain old friction works pretty well too.  The trouble is that when you vigorously rub the creasing iron you have to maintain focus and control because it can "wander" on you and then it is hard to mask.  Definitely try the heat.

as evident in my pic....lol, the curves really got me and a couple straight sections...

I was really impressed with the edges on the pockets too.  That's what caught my eye.  Nice work.
