BDAZ Report post Posted May 30, 2018 (edited) I found this article, which IMHO, justifies the purchase of a 3D printer. http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Print-Your-Own-Leather-Stamps/ Bob Edited May 30, 2018 by BDAZ

Bigfoote Report post Posted May 30, 2018 No reason why they wouldn't work, if they start to wear, just print new ones! I don't think you could get real crisp fine details like metal stamps could?
BDAZ Report post Posted May 31, 2018 (edited) I had a few simple ones made some years ago and they last well and produce sharp impressions. Edited May 31, 2018 by BDAZ
sam000lee Report post Posted June 2, 2018 I can also chip in here. My day job is for a company that makes a popular 3D printer and so I have access to all of the various materials they use. I 3D print embossing stamps for my products and then use my 4 ton clicker to impress it into leather. The sharpness is very good but not quite as good a hot stamper. For just a few dollars worth of material, you can create a nice custom stamp. As for longevity, I have some of these stamps that I've never had to replace. Others that have thin line details will eventually break but as somebody else here said, you can just print another one.
kyrrk Report post Posted June 13, 2018 I have difficulty printing small stamps. This is what i made. My custom logo. The day I took this pic was the same day I broke the stamp. Lol
