garypl Report post Posted August 16, 2018 Made another beer growler carrier for my nephew. Made of 4-5 oz veg tan with 1-2 oz pigskin trim. Gary
battlemunky Report post Posted August 16, 2018 That is great! I think all the colors compliment each other and the work is really clean! Your nephew will be thrilled I'm sure! The hop looks pretty cool as well.

kiwican Report post Posted August 16, 2018 How did you do the bottom?
garypl Report post Posted August 16, 2018 Thanks everyone! Kiwican - the carry strap goes under the growler and there is another hidden strap that goes from one side, under the growler and up the other side, so they form a cross under the growler to support it. I used a jiffy rivet to hold the straps together where they cross each other. I already gave it to him so I can’t take another picture. Gary
noobleather Report post Posted August 16, 2018 Really nice growler carrier there, as an all grain brewer I am always taking a growler full of brew round to a mates place. Really nice to be able to carry it in a stylish case such as that.

I am planning to make a sample and take to my local growler shop to see what kind of interest they might have to offer them for sale to their customers. Maybe make a plain version for less money and offer customized units for higher. Gary

My son was my assistant brewmaster when he was about 4 years old! Now both my sons are into all grain brewing and we have a supply store close by with an amazing selection of ingredients. Times have changed! Gary
noobleather Report post Posted August 21, 2018 I have been all grain for about 10years now and it's has really come along way with what you can buy these days. I have a 3V system with a 80-100L brew capacity depending on the style and alcohol gravity. Cheers

Suppose we should move this topic to the home brew forum now! Gary
