Members LederMaschinist Posted July 20, 2019 Members Report Posted July 20, 2019 (edited) I've watched a lot of machine adjustment videos, and one came to mind. It's definitely not a Consew 206, but maybe you can learn something from it. It's produced by Uwe Grosse who is a member here, and all of his videos are pretty top notch. Go to 9:37 for the forward/reverse stitch length adjustment. You might also check that the top and bottom shafts aren't 1 rotation out of phase, and that the feet are lifting equal amounts. Members Hollou Posted January 19 Members Report Posted January 19 I don’t know if I’m just an incredible novice and this isn’t the same problem, but I was having this issue and couldn’t figure it out, then came to realize that when changing stitch lengths I needed to manually lift the reverser arm all the way up then use as normal. When I used the dial to adjust stitch length, it does move the arm up some, but not as far as it needs to be, which seems to result in short backstitches. Just throwing it out there as a possible solution. I know this post is a few years old, but being as it’s one of the first google results I got, thought it might be worth posting. Quote
