Members plinkercases Posted September 25, 2018 Members Report Posted September 25, 2018 Made for a buddy who hikes in Algonquin and while we cant carry fro self protection even from wildlife he carried a blank gun to make as much noise as he could to hopefully scare the beast away. Tanker for easy access and lots of adjustment to under or over his warm gear or T-shirt etc. And as a small disclaimer...my gut is sticking out because of how I had to hold the camera... really. Members JD62 Posted September 25, 2018 Members Report Posted September 25, 2018 That looks really nice,I like the adjustability aspect. When I was a boy we spent many summers hiking and fishing in the Algonquin park, some of my favorite memories! Quote One day at a time my friends John

bikermutt07 Posted September 25, 2018 Report Posted September 25, 2018 That is cool. I thought it was legal to carry in a national park these days? Of course, maybe you're not in the States? Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

And it seems the camera is causing that problem more frequently and to a greater degree for some reason. I may need a new camera. Thanks for the comments folks. Yes Mutt we are a different deal here and we are about to perhaps get more regulatory restrictions on legal gun ownership. However, the Government received an e-petition with about 86K signatures I believe which they say is the largest e-petition in our history. Members Harrycho Posted October 7, 2018 Members Report Posted October 7, 2018 I like the concept. Much easier than a standard shoulder rig. Quote
Members plinkercases Posted October 7, 2018 Author Members Report Posted October 7, 2018 Thanks and ya its a tried and true approach for military folks who work seated such the tank crews (hence tanker if course) and pilots of both planes and helicopters. Used a lot for field and hunting holsters in the civilian world. It was a good build and turned out as i planned for once!
