Good work on both, how's your hand after all the backgrounding? I think the eagle would make a great American style tattoo as well.

Thanks, The back grounding on the picture of Jesus was three or four sittings. My hand/fingers couldn't do it all at once!

Excellent work!

However the latin tyrants would need another "n". I'd add a short horizontal stroke above the "n" which doubles "n" or "m" in older scriptures.

That's a great idea. I'd place "sic" one or two bends back on the left side of the ribbon although the letters might be partially hidden  (in order to avoid "semper tyrannis sic").
