texasnewf Report post Posted November 5, 2018 Hi everyone, I'm not very busy on this site so forgive me if this has already been talked about. Have you seen anyone or have you done anything non traditional Sheridan style tooling ? I've been wanting to see some examples... Thanks Craig
immiketoo Report post Posted November 15, 2018 Almost everything I do is non-traditional and I have dabbled in floral but its not really my thing. To be clear, are you asking for something other than Sheridan, or floral done in a way other than Sheridan?
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted November 15, 2018 (edited) I've dabbled in Celtic, and one of my more recent projects was a Tudor rose: Definitely NOT Sheridan...lol! Edited November 15, 2018 by Sheilajeanne

Bob Blea Report post Posted November 16, 2018 I've done quite a few things that would not be traditional floral carvings. I made several leather crests for people who make their own armor but didn't want to try their hand at carving the leather. These were all based off their original designs. ScoobyNewbie Report post Posted November 17, 2018 Ohmygodilovetheviking! The rest of them are cool as well! Another thread found a book in the archives called Le Cuir. It’s very beautiful and has patterns for boxes, bags (small ones) and things for desks.
noobleather Report post Posted November 17, 2018 Wow wow some great carving Immiketoo Your carving work is awesome as usual,I haven't seen your holster work before so I really like that Bob Blea - Really like the 1st and 3rd pics, the red and black contrasts very nicely. The green, black and white design just pops! What did you use the designs on??
