did for for a guy a couple nights ago. took me about 5 hours start to finish. the other wallet in the pic was the original that he had for about 20 years and wanted it duplicated.

simple wallet but, the first i have done from scratch.

the cover is 3-4oz and the rest is 1 1/2-2 oz

I dont think that you did a very good job duplicating his old wallet...I mean where are the loose threads and your corners are still there and you can make out what is carved on the front. I hope that he was not mad at you for not duplicating it exactly... LOL just kidding!! You made a great wallet that is no duplicate of that old worn out thing!!

Nice job Roger. It's nice to be able to slow down a bit and do something like that every now and again.

thanks guys!

it was fun to have a bit of a different challenge. the only real change i made from the old one was... the old one was all 1 1/2- 2 oz and i told him i would go 3-4oz for the cover. he is very happy with the way it came out
