I haven't made a shoulder rig in ... a long long time.  This looks nice -- the snake looks good (that's a good  bit of sewing!).  Looks like you used something light on the straps to keep the weight down?  But I did want to ask why a retention adjustment screw AND the thumb strap?

Thanks,In my opinoin it gives me or the customer a bit secured weaponin the holster incase for whatever reason thumb break comes un snap,and the harness is 4oz chrome tan very light and supple with a light pig skin lining on back

Great work, I hope to get half that good some day. I love the ostrich, how hard is ostrich leather to work with? Thanks for the inspiration
